Personal:
Son of Bernard and Linda Wishnia, Wishnia is husband to Brittany Wishnia and father to Nathan and Brayden along with his best friend and service dog, Sammie....In 2011, Wishnia was injured while serving as a U.S. Marine Corps sergeant in Afghanistan when a combat explosion hurt his right leg....He is just starting his career as he learns how to adapt to life with new injuries....He grew up playing soccer, lacrosse and football and didn't pick up track and field until 2014.... In his spare time, he enjoys working out and hunting. Wishnia hopes to develop a career in assisting other injured service members to show them life outside the injury.
