Personal:
Kevan Hueftle was a successful high school athlete before being involved in a hunting accident in 2005 that left his foot severely injured from a gunshot wound. After three surgeries and five months of healing, he made the decision to amputate his left leg below the knee. He struggled with alcohol addiction and several other setbacks in his recovery. Still the holder of the state high school record in the 4x400-meter relay, he was determined to be active again and live a healthy lifestyle, pursuing Paralympic track and field in 2017 and making his first international team at the 2019 Parapan American Games....Son of Lee and Sherry Hueftle…Has two sisters, Kara and Kristine…Married to Nicole…Has a daughter, Chesley, and son, Hayes…Oversees Kevan Farms and Ranches with his parents, raising red angus that he sells directly to his consumers.
