Personal:
Jordan took up swimming in 1998 at age seven. She has paralysis in the left side of her body due to cerebral palsy. Before each race, she visualizes how she want the race to go and practices positive thinking. When she is in the ready room, she listens to Blink-182 and has listened to them in the ready room since the beginning of her Paralympic career. She was named a team captain in 2012, 2014 and 2015....Daughter of Dirk Jordan and Nancy Jordan, has one sister, Mikaela…Hobbies include cooking, volunteering, reading and writing…Substitute teacher for Howard County Public Schools.
