He wore a prosthetic forearm and hand until he was five, but stopped using it because it became a hindrance…He slowly began taking up snowboarding at the age of seven after seeing other people snowboarding…He worked as a lift attendant on Copper Mountain before being asked to compete competitively with Adaptive Action Sports…In November of 2015, he made his international debut at a world cup event…After an impressive opening season, Minor continues to dominate competition on the national and international stage…Son of Mike and Kim Minor...Has one sister, Mallory...Enjoys skateboarding and spending time with his dogs Halo and Dinky...Grew up participating in skiing, wrestling, skateboarding, four-wheeling and mixed martial arts...Named USOC Athlete of the Month for November 2016...Credits Para snowboarder Andrew Hale as his idol...Nicknames include Squirrel, Bowl Troll and Smeagol...His most memorable sporting achievement was winning the banked slalom world cup title in his first season of international racing.
