Personal:
Jones is a Paralympian in both cycling and alpine skiing. She was born without her right femur and is missing her right leg above the knee. Her first Paralympic Games experience came at the 2002 Paralympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City in alpine skiing. She went on to compete in track cycling at the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games, and since then has competed in the 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012, 2014 Games in either cycling or alpine skiing. ...Married Sara Jarrell in 2014…Has one sister, Haley…Has one dog, Rammer, two cats, Miles and Davis, and three chickens, Hedwig, RuPaul and Beetle Juice…She started skiing and riding a bike when she was 5 years old…Hobbies include mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, camping and building Lego sets… Awarded Denver University’s highest honor for undergraduates, the “Pioneer Award”...Collects Coca-Cola bottles from around the world and is a self-proclaimed fan of packing and unpacking her bags for all of her skiing and cycling trips.
