Personal:
Johnson has been skiing since she was 4 years old in Winter Park, Colorado...Ever since she was a little girl, she dreamed of skiing everyday but that was not quite a possibility while growing up outside of Chicago...Didn't begin ski racing until the 2018/2019 season when a coworker (now coach), Scott Olsen, asked her ‘why not?’ which is how she went into that season...She quickly realized that this was the path that she was meant to find and completely fell in love with the sport, with the camaraderie of her team, and with the competition...Had an amazing first season and was hooked, but in February of 2020, she had a major setback and broke her tibia and fibula in about 5 places during my first downhill race in British Columbia...She began racing again in February of 2021...Partner to Marcus Richardson...Enjoys spending time with her dogs.
