Interested in representing the United States at an international meet this fall in Switzerland?

You will be considered for the U.S. Challenge "210" team if you sign up by 4 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 9, at this expression of interest form. Interested athletes must have competed at a sanctioned USA Weightlifting or International Weightlifting Federation event from Feb. 28-Aug. 28, 2022. The final domestic qualifier is the 2022 USA Weightlifting National Championships Week (June 25-July 3).

USA Weightlifting has been invited to participate in the 50th anniversary of the Challenge "210" that will be held Oct. 28-29, 2022 in Tramelan, Switzerland. The U.S. is expected to join China, France, Italy and Spain in sending teams to this competition. Each invited nation is limited to a three-athlete team, so rankings for the U.S. team will be combined across genders and bodyweight categories; the athletes with the highest NRS, regardless of gender, will be invited.

Athletes must meet all requirements expressed in the USA Weightlifting Selection Procedures, with particular attention paid to the USADA Lift Clean RTP requirement and minimum performance requirements needed to represent the U.S. on an international stage. The selection procedures linked above detail which domestic and international competitions fall within the qualification period.
