The entry deadline for the 22nd Junior U.S. Open Water Ski Championships has been extended to 5:00 p.m. (EDT), May 29. Preference will be given to the skiers that entered prior to the original deadline of May 22.

A Successful First Adaptive Learn To Ski Clinic For Veterans

USA Water Ski & Wake Sports held the first of 10 water ski clinics across the nation for veterans with disabilities on Saturday, May 14 at Lake Seminole in Pinellas County, Florida. The clinic was hosted in collaboration with Ann’s Angels Adaptive Waterski Foundation and the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa and funded through an Adaptive Sports Grant from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The clinic provided veterans and service members with various disabilities a fun and safe day out on the water.

Qualifications & Procedures Posted For Pan Am Championships

The qualifications and procedures for the U.S. Elite, U21, U17 and U14 water ski teams that will compete in the 2022 Pan American Water Ski Championships are now available to view and download. The biennial tournament will be held Nov. 29-Dec. 3 in San Bernardo, Chile.

U.S. Team Wins Gold At IWWF Pan Am Wakeboard Championships

The U.S. Wakeboard Team won the overall team gold medal and eight U.S. wakeboard athletes won medals, including three gold, in respective divisions at the 2022 IWWF Pan American Wakeboard Championships, May 13-14, in Nova Lima, Brazil.

Smith, Jaquess Win Swiss Pro Slalom Titles

U.S. water ski athletes Nate Smith (McCordsville, Ind.) and Regina Jaquess (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.) won the men’s and women’s slalom titles, respectively, on Sunday at the 2022 Swiss Pro Slalom at the Swiss Ski School in Clermont, Fla.
