Junior Beach Teams to Compete in Siesta Key

SIESTA KEY, Fla. (July 18, 2018) – More than 600 girls’ and boys’ beach volleyball players, ages 11-18 have converged on Siesta Key Beach this week for the USA National Beach Tour Junior National Championships.

Teams in the 12-and-under and 16U age groups will compete July 19-21. Teams in the 14U and 18U age groups will compete July 22-24.

Admission is free and spectators are welcome.

USA Volleyball will stream four courts live at bit.ly/USAVwatch.

The USA National Beach Tour Championships culminates a series of qualification events beginning in February. The top four pairs in each division from Beach National Qualifiers (BNQ) and a select number of bid winners as part of the Beach Regional Qualifiers (BRQ) earned spots into the national championships event. BNQ winners earned bids to the National Open Division at the national championships. Designated BRQ events in each region earned Regional Division bids to the national championships.
