  • Hobbies are hiking creeks and streams
  • Favorite athlete is Usain Bolt
  • Cousins Noah and Peyton from her mother’s side had Duchenne MD (muscular dystrophy) and were wheelchair bound for most of their lives. “For me, it was like having brothers that I didn’t have at home. My sister Becca and I were very close to them and we have so many memories of playing games, going on adventures, and hanging out with them. They both made me laugh and sometimes cry, but we were family through and through. Peyton (17) and Noah (13) both passed away in their teens from the horrible disease they had and parts of me will never fully heal, but I realized something very important from losing them. I can’t take anything for granted and I should push myself in everything I do because physically their bodies were slowly taken away from them and eventually their lives, but their memory lives on in me and helps me to be the best I can be and hopefully touch as many lives as they did. I miss Noah and Peyton and will always love them dearly and remember them in all I do.”
