• After 2016 Olympic Games, Lowe took a break from the U.S. Women's National Team to go back to school to pursue a master's of landscape architecture at University of Southern California
• Never made the 'A' team until her junior year of high school
• Selected Capital One Academic All-America Third Team by CoSIDA in 2014
• Nominee for Lowe's Senior Class Award, the nation's premier award for NCAA Senior Student-Athletes
• Played tennis competitively until middle of high school
• Started playing indoor volleyball in 2003 with Coast Volleyball Club, but finished junior career playing with Wave Volleyball Club
• Hobbies are hiking, tennis, DIY projects, ocean activities
• Never lived outside of southern California and is about to live in a different country for eight months
• Graduated from UCLA in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in geography/environmental studies
