USA Triathlon Camp Curriculum

The USA Triathlon’s Splash, Spin, Sprint Camp Manual is the culmination of over 10 years of work through the collaborative efforts of USA Triathlon, Alive with Mission Me, experienced triathlon and multisport athletes, triathlon coaches, and recognized scholars in health, recreation, and physical education. This manual was a call to action to address the continued health problems related to physical inactivity and obesity among children and youth.

Through research and collaboration with scholars in health, recreation, and physical education, USA Triathlon identified a need for multisport curriculum that could help support sport-camps and non-sport camps (with sport offerings) with a multisport based camp manual that is easy to follow and use. Throughout the Splash, Spin, Sprint camp manual you will find several sections that help you learn and incorporate multisport programming or enhance your current programs at your camp. USAT believes that when combined with the camp experience, the Splash, Spin, Sprint program can help enrich the lives of children, youth, and adults.

A physical kit is also available that goes with the activities found in the manual. Items include a trunk, tennis balls, cones, frisbees, and essential items found in the activities in the manual. For more information on how to purchase the manual and the kit, please contact youth@usatriathlon.org.
