"I pray that I make my children, my family and the community proud of my efforts  whether I finish first or  last.  I pray that people who have never met a Muslim see me as not only a fierce competitor and sportswoman but a decent human being" -K. Diggs (From her Bio-statement for the 17th Annual Interfaith Health and Human Services conference October 11, 2014)

Happiness keeps you SWEET....so SMILE. Being MERCIFUL brings you mercy from others ...so FORGIVE. Trials keep you STRONG....so ENDURE. Sorrows keep you HUMAN....so remember SURAH 94. Failures keep you HUMBLE......so get back up. And ALLAH(swt), keeps you going..... so PRAY. I may not always live my life this way but insha'Allah it is the GOAL.  - K. Diggs  ( From her featured interview with Azizah Magazine Volume 7 Issue 4)
