Personal: Son of Michele and Michael Hemming • Has an older brother, Jess, and older sister, Breanna • Was homeschooled in high school but competed in track and cross-country for Ponderosa High School in Parker, Colo. • Was the Colorado 4A state champion in cross-country as a high school senior • Was named USA Triathlon Junior Elite Athlete of the Year in 2012 and USA Triathlon Under-23 Athlete of the Year in 2016 and 2017.
