Personal: Daughter of Tim and Anna Lettenberger • Has two brothers, Alex and Charlie • Was born with arthrogryposis amyoplasia, a musculoskeletal disorder that affects her lower limbs • Began swimming at age 11 with the Wheaton Swim Club in Wheaton, Ill. • Was named to the 2014 U.S. Pan-Pacific Team in swimming and went on to win gold in the 100m backstroke at the Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games • Enjoys playing the piano and voila, cooking and baking.
