USA Triathlon is governed by the Board of Directors, which has general charge of the business affairs and activities of the organization and defines the policies to be followed in carrying out the purposes of the organization as set in the bylaws. All members of the Board must be current annual USA Triathlon members.

Leadership is also provided by various assigned committees and commissions.

2023 USA Triathlon Election

The Board of Directors election nomination window opens on June 1, 2023. Please send all nominations to election@usatriathlon.org. Nominations will close on June 30, 2023.

The positions below are open for nominations:

  • Three (3) General Directors
  • Two (2) Athlete Directors
  • Two (2) Athletes Advisory Council Members

USA Triathlon annual elections are conducted in accordance with the USA Triathlon Election Policy. Complete details on the nomination process, candidate platforms, and other items up for vote on the ballot are documented each year.

FINANCIAL INFORMATION

The USA Triathlon financial statements have been posted to help our membership understand the financial activities of the organization. The financial statements posted are two-year comparison statements that include the Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Activities and Net Changes.

Also included are the USA Triathlon Form 990 Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax. The returns are submitted to the Internal Revenue Service on an annual basis.
