Though a member of the Women's National Team Pool, she continued to play on her Denver club team. In the summer of 2013, Jennifer trained in France with U.S. Coach Christian Latulippe. She then moved to Auburn, Alabama in January 2014 to train full-time in the USATH Residency Program.

She continued her athletics in college, playing one year of soccer and four years of basketball at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. She was a member of the 2002 Final Four soccer team as well as the 2003 Women's DIII Basketball National Championship team.

A basketball defensive specialist, Jennifer is currently top-five in total steals in a season and total steals all-time at Trinity University.
