Personal

Alden Mezick learned about team handball when the USATH Residency program was established in Auburn, Alabama. At the time, Mezick was a soccer player and a student at Auburn University enrolled in the team handball class. He fell in love with the sport and joined the Auburn University Team Handball Club. A month later, he attended a tryout and was asked to join the national team.

Mezick graduated from Auburn University in 2016 with a degree in Exercise Science, and is living and training everyday in Auburn with the Residency Program and Auburn University THC, diligently working to bring our country back to the Olympics and World Championships.
