Personal: Maggie Tian started to play table tennis at age of 6. She had been training and playing professionally since 9 years old before she retired from the Liaoning provincial team in 2008. Came to US in 2009 and has been coaching full-time since.

What is your most memorable experience/result as a coach?

“I’ve been working with literally hundreds of young players, along with other coaches, in this country since 2009. There were many memorable experiences and results. If I have to pick one, it has to be seeing Ariel Hsing and Lily Zhang make the 2012 Olympics in the same year.”
