Welcome to USA Softball's Education center! As a player, coach, umpire, parent or administrator, there are a variety of educational resources available to assist you with developing your skills both on and off the field. Develop your game with helpful guides and articles in the links below.

Launched in April, 2019, USA Softball's Amateur Resource Center is a website designed to promote grassroots education for coaches, parents, umpires and youth athletes. Covering important topics that relate to youth softball, the website also features original content from members of the USA Softball National Team programs and instructional videos covering the basic fundamentals of softball.

The ACE (Aspire, Challenge, Encourage) Coach Education Program is a coaching program, developed and designed to provide softball coaches of all levels – from beginning coaches to experienced veterans – an opportunity to be educated as a coach with a national softball organization.

The purpose of the USA Softball National Umpire School is to develop each student's individual talents and skills as an umpire. Each USA Softball National Umpire School is run by a team of no less than three National Umpire staff members. Each member is an experienced instructor with a boundless knowledge of all aspects of the game of softball.

The “Official Rules of Softball”, the participant manual that governs USA Softball Championship Play, is a benefit of membership. For information on receiving a participant manual, contact your Local Association Commissioner. The USA Softball Official Rules of Softball is updated annually and available as a mobile app for $14.99.
