How he got started playing softball: 
My dad played for many years and then retired when I was really young, but I was always wanting to try mens fast pitch.  When I was 16 my uncle Richard Quigley informed my mom that there were some leagues out in Watertown, Minnesota and I went and was hooked instantly.
