GETTING TO KNOW DONOVAN
Parents: Lauri and Kevin Donovan
Siblings: Amber and Blake
Pets: A pug named Sam
Dream job: To be an FBI agend
Favorite sport besides softball: Gymnastics (I stopped at the age of 12 to focus on softball) and volleyball
What it means to represent the United States: I have always had a fascination for the American flag and its colors. I have had one hanging on the wall of my bedroom as a decoration for many years. It has new meaning now as it reminds me to work towards my goals on a daily basis so I can represent my country and play for the Junior Woman's National Team. It will be the highest honor to represent my country in the sport that I have worked so hard at and love.
What she loves about softball: The competitiveness and speed as well as the ability the game has to change at any moment.
Who has been the biggest supporter of your career: My mom and dad and grandparents for always bending over backwards to take me to all the endless games and practices.
Why she chose to attend South Florida: I chose the University of South Florida for its beautiful campus, perfect softball weather and it was a location that was all new to me and I wanted to try something different!

Three pet peeves: People chewing with their mouth open and people complaining

Last person I had dinner with: My sister Amber
