Did You Know?: Alison would like to become an opthamologist...she has been a vegetarian for 6 years...she loves the water and is a certified PADI scuba diver...she participated in a DNA barcoding project through her high school and Coast Marine Biolabs on DNA sequencing of different species of rockfish in the Channel Islands, National Park. Her team successfully sequenced and identified the DNA so she is now a published co-author of "Barcoding the Kelp Forests of California's Northern Channel Islands".
