Come join USA Judo and the new US Olympic and Paralympic Museum where we will have several judo-related activities take place this coming Saturday, October 24, 2020, including the recognition of Judo Olympians and Paralympians from the region. This event leads up to World Judo Day on October 28 where the theme this year is "Stronger Together" with the idea to bring together the Judo community while also introduce our sport to others in a safe way.
In addition to a ceremony honoring local Olympians and Paralympians, there will be judo demonstrations and a virtual presentation by Jean Kanokogi about her mother, Rusty, and the 40th anniversary of the first Women’s World Judo Championships this November. Activities will start around 10:30am with the Olympian & Paralympian Ceremony scheduled for 1:00pm. Admission to the museum is 20% off with the attached flyer and group discounts are also available! Groups of 15 or more can get a special rate of $17.95 for adults and $12.95 for children (ages 3-12).
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions about this, we look forward to seeing everyone that comes out!
