Veteran Athletes Represent USA Judo in Belgium Masters

Belgium hosted its twelfth edition of the Brussels Belgium Masters this past Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the Centre Sportif d’ETTERBEEK. NYAC’s Arthur Canario and Frank Imundi represented USA Judo throughout the tournament and each won a medal.

Arthur Canario, who scored second place with the silver, scored second place with the silver after losing in the finals in the M7 age division (60-64) at 100kg. The bronze medal was in the hands of Frank Imundi who competed at 90kg in age group M8 (65-69).

The event hosted judokas from around the world in different categories, ranging from M1 (30-34) to M10 (75 and over) age group divisions. Participation to the 12th Brussels Belgium Masters is exclusive to members of a national judo federation affiliated to the International Judo Federation, IJF.
