  • BCBS medical plan--Athletes enrolled in EAHI can receive counseling benefits under the health insurance plan:
    • In-network provider cost - $15 copay + 10% of remaining cost
    • Out-of-network provider cost - 30% of cost after deductible of $1,000 for an individual or $2,000 for a family is met.
    • Find a provider on the Highmark website at https://www.highmarkbcbs.com/home/
      • Select find a doctor

      • Under pick a plan, and enter the first three letters of the member id: OAM and select the BCBS PPO plan
      • Search by area of need, for example behavioral health counselor or specialist
  •

  • Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) – Athletes can contact ComPsych directly for a referral to see a mental health professional and the first 6 sessions are provided at no cost.  If services are needed beyond that timeframe, we can discuss with Sport Performance to cover any cost related to this matter.  If you would like to use these services, you can call 800-428-2716 anytime 24/7.  You will not be required to provide a member id number or any related info and if asked just share that you are with the USOPC plan.
  •

Athletes not on EAHI can access the EAP:

  • The EAP, ComPsych, is permitting athletes who are not enrolled in EAHI to also utilize the EAP services for this specific matter. Call 800-428-2716 anytime 24/7.  You will not be required to provide a member id number or any related info and if asked just share that you are with the USOPC plan.
