Southam started playing field hockey at the age of six in Argentina. She played most of her field hockey career at GEBA coached by Geraldine Fresco Pisani and at Key Biscayne Field Hockey coached by Florencia Manero. She is extremely grateful and lucky to have had amazing coaches that made her passionate for the game and pushed her to get better every day. Her family is her biggest support system with whom she share the love for the game.
