Tampa Riverwalk
The 2.6-mile Tampa Riverwalk is a pedestrian pathway running along Garrison Channel and the Hillsborough River through the heart of downtown. It connects hotels, waterfront dining, public parks and museums like gems on a string. It’s the perfect place for a morning run, afternoon bike ride or evening stroll as the lights of the city twinkle to life. Lighted canopies and colorful bridges highlight the Riverwalk, a popular spot well into the evening.

Pirate Water Taxi
An all-day pass lets fans hop on and off for a water’s edge view of downtown. The bright yellow taxis run parallel to the Tampa Riverwalk with side trips to Davis Islands and a few other spots and gives an alternative to walking or biking from end to end. The water taxi includes a running commentary by the crew describing the sights along the route.

Food Halls
Mix and match the fantastic flavors of Tampa Bay at three food halls offering an endless variety of dining options. At the north end of the Tampa Riverwalk, the Armature Works complex features a dozen restaurants at Heights Public Market. Bite into Tampa Bay history with a traditional Cuban sandwich at Hemingway’s, grab oysters at Stone’s Throw or sample vegetarian and vegan dishes with a Southern twist at Dixie Dharma. Don’t forget to take meals outside to watch boats bobbing on the river! A few blocks away, the stylish Hall on Franklin takes the work out of the food hall by putting all its offering on a single menu with table service. At the south end of the Tampa Riverwalk, Sparkman Wharf features a relaxed, food-truck feel with open-air dining and Tampa Bay’s top chefs serving small bites from kitchens in waterfront shipping containers.
