How do I become a member (athlete, non-athlete, or coach) of USA Diving?
Registration is available online in the Membership section. Memberships are paid with a credit card, and membership cards may be printed from your home computer.

Can I purchase a membership from USA Diving over the phone?
No. All memberships must be purchased online with a credit card.

What membership type is right for me?
USA Diving offers a number of membership types for coaches, divers, officials, and fans. A summary of each membership type is available to assist in determining which membership type and level is best for you.

How do I check my membership status and various training expiration dates?
You can log in to your membership account through our website to check your membership and training status 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Once you’re logged in, your trainings and their expiration dates will be on the opening page.

Can I renew multiple club members at one time?
You no longer need the individual usernames and passwords for your divers to renew their memberships. If you are the club administrator, just log in to your membership account and click on the Club Admin Help Guide, which provides step-by-step instructions on how to renew your divers and pay one time for multiple divers. It also tells you how to add new divers to your club.

How do I access the Members’ Only page?
To access the Members’ Only page, go here, and log in to your USA Diving membership account using your username and password. Once you've logged in, the option to access the Members’ Only page will appear on the left side of the screen.

How do I find a club in my area?
Please visit the Find a USA Diving Club resource and choose your state from the drop-down menu. All currently registered USA Diving clubs will be shown on the screen. If no clubs are close enough for you, you may wish to contact the closest one listed and ask whether they know of other programs in your area.

What are the requirements to become a coach?
The coach is required to complete the USA Diving safety training for diving coaches, which consists of an online exam and an in-water skills demonstration conducted with one of USA Diving’s instructors. If an in-water skills session class is not convenient, coaches may substitute it with an accepted lifeguarding class. The lifeguarding class combined with the online exam will complete the safety training. If a coach can verify that the facility it uses will have a lifeguard on deck AT ALL TIMES, a coach can complete Option B which consists of the online test and the completion of the online video. Coaches must also take Concussion Awareness and SafeSport training courses and complete a background screening. Visit the
