Personal: Tarrin is the daughter of Joe, a service engineer, and Josette Gilliland, a tutor...She also has three older siblings, Nicole, Dwite and Kayley...Tarrin began diving at age eight and trains four to six hours a day, six days a week...She added more dryland and physical training to her regimen in 2016...Her favorite dive is a front 3 1/2 pike (107B) on 10-meter and her favorite diver Laura Wilkinson...She likes to pray and quote scripture verses when she is competing, and she listens to Christian music in between dives...She competed at her first junior nationals in 2012 and made her senior national debut in 2013...When she's not diving, Tarrin enjoys ballet, shopping, watching movies and hanging with friends...She would love to meet Carrie Underwood...She describes herself as funny, shy and competitive
