Personal: Daria is the daughter of Maria, a pediatrician, and Heinz Lenz, an oncologist...She is the fourth daughter in a diving family that includes older sisters Felicitas, Cosima, and Annika...She began diving at age seven and now trains at least three hours a day, six days a week...Her favorite dive is a 5152B on 3-meter and her favorite diver is Olympic gold medalist David Boudia...Daria says she learned one of her most valuable lessons at the 2013 Junior National Championships, where she balked on her very first dive (103B on 3-meter) and did not make the finals...She says she was really upset with herself and that motivated her to work hard even when there are bumps in the road...Now in 2016 she is challenging herself with harder dives and working to prepare herself mentally...When she competes, she likes to listen to pop music like Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber...She previously also competed in gymnastics...When she is not diving, Daria enjoys hanging out with friends, hiking, and travelling...She also plays the piano and volunteers at the Villa Parke Community Center making sack lunches for the homeless...She would like to be a doctor like her parents.
