Personal: Carolina is the daughter of Mary Lou (a photographer) and Chris (owner of CJS Milwork)...She has three siblings, CJ, Trace, and Autumn...Carolina began diving at age six...For the 2019 season, she is hoping to get a personal best in the 3-meter event...She trains two-and-a-half hours a day, five weeks a day and her favorite dive is 5152B...She says the hardest part about her training is balancing diving with academics and campus life...Carolina likes to listen to music and work on homework in between dives...Between dives, Carolina usually listens to something pretty mellow that will pass the time, but doesn't make her lose focus...Carolina's typical pre-competition meal is bacon, egg and cheese...Outside of competition, her favorite meal is linguine and clams...Her favorite diver is Guo Jingjing...Outside of diving, Carolina participates in Stanford Doctors Without Borders, a student chapter on campus. She also coaches diving clubs in the summer...Carolina enjoys listening to music cooking and learning about the Chinese culture and languages...She hopes to travel to China one day and to also work there...If Carolina could do any other profession, she would consider speed skating because it looks intense, but also fun...She describes herself as determined, hardworking and lighthearted...Her favorite t.v. show is Friends and her favorite movie is Monsters Inc.
