Personal: Maddie started cycling when she was 17 years old and joined a junior team out of Boulder, Colo....Raced one year of criteriums and road races until the team set up a "Learn the Velo" day at the Colorado Springs velodrome and she was hooked...She has been a track sprinter ever since…Enjoys exploring the mountains by hikes, bike rides, or motorcycles…Other hobbies include visiting farmers markets and getting lost in a good book…Loves all things purple… became the first American female to be invited to race the prestigious Japanese Keirin School.
