Aiming for gold in 2020

The field for the 2020 U.S. National Team Trials for wheelchair curling is now set! The competition featuring 12 athletes is set for July 6-7 at the Four Seasons CC. Read more here.

Main program contacts:

The wheelchair curling program began in the U.S. in the 1990s. The sport relies upon skill and strategy with minor rules modifications from the original sport.

The World Wheelchair Championship began in 2002 and the sport was included as a medal sport in the Paralympic Winter Games for the first time in 2006.

2020 Team Selection

Important dates:

May 30-June 2: Invitational Camp and Selection Trials in Denver. Results.

July 6-7: 2020 Wheelchair National Team Trials in Blaine, Minn. 

Nov. 27-30: 2020 World Wheelchair Qualifier in Lohja, Finland.
