Tamara Jenkins is a United States Olympian, Member of the Board of the United States Olympians and Paralympians Alumni Association, and President of the Southern California Olympians and Paralympians. She has held director-level positions at USA Canoe/Kayak and LA2024 where she led athlete-focused initiatives in marketing, social media and public relations. She represented the United States in every major International Canoe Federation World Cup and World Championship competition between 1996-2000 and finished her career by winning U.S. Olympic Trials to achieve the great honor of competing in the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000. Jenkins is  also an award-winning documentary filmmaker who speaks on a wide range of topics including the role of women in sport and technology.
