When did you start boxing and why: I started boxing at the age of 9. I went to an amateur boxing show, and from that point on I wanted to start training and begin boxing in amateur events.

Amateur record: 32-9

Career highlights to this point: 2x Silver Gloves State and Regional Champion, 2x Junior Olympics State and Regional Champion with advancement to nationals twice, 2x Gene Lewis Champion, National PAL runner-up, Ringside runner-up and 2016 USA Boxing National Champion.

Who has been your biggest inspiration and why: Sugar Ray Leonard, because he was smart with quick feet and fast hands, like myself, who displayed his skills in the ring with good sportsmanship.
