Jan. 11, 2019, 3:03 p.m. (ET)

The USA Boxing Alumni Association hosted its 2nd Annual Hall of Fame Reception on December 7, 2018 at the Radisson Inn hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah. This year's class of inductees were: Tom Cleary, Roy Jones Jr., Claressa Shields, Emanuel Steward and Andre Ward.

This year’s reception also presented the first ever USA Boxing Alumni Association Lifetime Achievement Award, which was awarded to the Fullmer Family, who have long been staples in the boxing community and were acknowledged for their contribution to the sport of amateur boxing.

“This year’s class embodies what the USA Boxing Alumni Association is about,” stated USA Boxing Executive Director Mike McAtee. “Every member, including the Fullmer Family, have made huge contributions to our sport of amateur Olympic-style boxing that will be remembered for generations to come.

The night was attended by numerous alumni members, including special guest Speaker of the House of Utah Greg Hughes, 1988 Olympic gold medalist Ray Mercer, 1984 Olympic gold medalist Henry Tillman, as well as the late Tom Cleary’s wife Diane Cleary and family members of the late Emanuel Steward.
