Anti-Doping  - WADA Prohibited List 2019

Please note that the WADA Prohibited List 2019 came into effect on 1 January 2019.

The Prohibited List is a list of substances and methods which are prohibited for athletes.

“Strict liability” means that if a prohibited substance is found in an athlete’s body as a result of a test (a positive test result / adverse analytical finding), then that athlete is responsible for that and must explain how that prohibited substance got there.

The WADA Prohibited List 2019 is published on the BWF website together with a document that lists the major changes from the previous list (2018).
