I like that synchro combines elements from lots of different sports such as swimming and gymnastics, which is actually why I joined in the first place. ...I’ve also met a lot of my friends through synchro, and I love that it gives the opportunity to compete at a national level. ...Favorite Synchronized Swimmer: Virginie Dedieu...Along with synchro, I am also part of my high school’s swim team that competes in the fall. This year we won our 15th state championship and I placed 2nd in the 100 back and 5th in the 200 IM.
