World Archery Performance Awards

World Archery, the International Federation for the sport of archery, offers members of USA Archery a unique opportunity to receive coveted awards for outstanding shooting accomplishments. These awards are called Performance Awards, also known as World Archery Star Pins.  

Event Guidelines

In order to qualify for pins, the event must be a USA Archery Sanctioned Event that includes a World Archery Star designation. You can determine the registration level by:

World Archery Star Awards

  • Awards are available for recurve and compound archers shooting in the Senior and Junior classes in four distance 1440 rounds.
  • Archers may apply for one recurve or compound award per scoring level achieved

Senior and Junior Age Classes

  • World Archery Star Award Compound
    • Score of 1000 = White pin with gold star
    • Score of 1100 = Black pin with gold star
    • Score of 1200 = Blue pin with gold star
    • Score of 1300 = Red pin with gold star
  • World Archery Star Award Recurve
    • Score of 1000 = Gold star
    • Score of 1100 = Black shield with gold star
    • Score of 1200 = Blue shield with gold star
    • Score of 1300 = Red shield with gold star

Silver Star Award

  • Silver World Archery Stars are available for recurve and compound archers shooting in the Cadet and Masters classes in four distance 1440 rounds.
  • Archers may apply for one recurve or compound award per scoring level achieved.

Cadet and Masters Age Classes

  • World Archery Silver Star Award Compound
    • Score of 1000 = White pin with silver star
    • Score of 1100 = Black pin with silver star
    • Score of 1200 = Blue pin with silver star
    • Score of 1300 = Red pin with silver star
  • World Archery Silver Star Award Recurve
    • Score of 1000 = Silver star
    • Score of 1100 = Black shield with silver star
    • Score of 1200 = Blue shield with silver star
    • Score of 1300 = Red shield with silver star

World Archery Target Awards

  • Awards are available for recurve and compound archers shooting in the Senior and Junior classes in the following events:
    • 72 Arrow 70m Recurve Round
    • 900 Round
    • 60 Arrow 25m Round
    • 60 Arrow 18m Round
    • 72 Arrow 50m Compound Round
  • Archers may apply for one recurve or compound award per scoring level achieved.

Senior and Junior Age Classes

World Archery Silver Target Awards

  • Awards are available for recurve archers shooting in the Cadet and Masters classes in the following event:
    • 72 Arrow 60m Recurve Round
  • Archers may apply for one recurve award per scoring level achieved.

Applicants must be a current Member of USA Archery to receive awards.
