Personal:
At 8 years old, Ian picked up skating, but he also competed in golf, cross country and track as he grew up in St. Louis. His St. Louis ties run deep as a huge supporter of the Cardinals (MLB) and Blues (NHL). Out of all the places that he has speed skated, his favorite place that he has competed is Spain. Although he enjoys his yearly Halloween tradition by eating his mom’s chili, his tru favorite food is curry. He lives by the quote, “Hurt now, win later.”
