Personal:
Emery was an all-around athlete from an early age when he started speed skating at nine years old and went on to play hockey and lacrosse in high school. He graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Civil Engineering. When he’s not on the ice, you can find him coaching outside the rink as an Assistant Coach at West Allis Speed Skating Club. His favorite holiday is the 4th of July and will never turn down a lasagna dinner. He listens to his favorite genre of music which is Oldies and loves watching his favorite movie “Miracle” or his favorite TV show “The Wire.” Emery’s main quote that he lives by is Muhammed Ali’s famous quote, “I hated every minute of training, but I said 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.'"
