Personal: Has one older sister, Meredith, one older brother, Phillip, and one younger brother Nicolas - all of which are involved at the highest level of the sport...Grew up surfing and windsurfing in Florida until he started sailing when his sister started a high school sailing team...Switched to the Finn class before his first year at Stanford and steadily climbed through the rankings...Enjoys road biking, kite foiling, surfing and free diving...Owns a retro conversion van that sometimes lives out of during long training blocks in the State...When he’s not sailing he works as a sailor/grinder for the New York Yacht Club's America's Cup syndicate - American Magic
