Angel City Sports - Paralympic Sport Southern California

Angel City Sports’ mission is to create sports opportunities across Southern California for kids, adults and veterans with physical disabilities. Through clinics and competitions, access to equipment, athlete training and development, and community leadership, Angel City Sports has built a nationally recognized adaptive sports program with support from partners such as U.S. Paralympics, LA2028, USA Volleyball, US Tennis Association and USA Track and Field. The Angel City Games is one of the largest adaptive sports competitions in the Western US, uniting the broader community of athletes, families, programs and partners. Launched in 2015, this annual celebration of adaptive sport serves hundreds of athletes who travel from across the US and abroad to participate. Local programs, clinics and events throughout the year cover a wide range of adaptive sports such as wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, track and field, swimming, archery, sitting volleyball, golf and more. The organization also supports emerging school-based programs through adaptive sports equipment rental, coaching education and athlete development.

The mission objectives of Argo Challenge are to educate the public about and enhance the public perception of the significant contributions the disabled members of each community can make to the whole, to advance the adaptive technologies assisting disabled individuals to maximize their contribution in a larger inclusive society, to inspire disabled individuals to set their goals as high as possible in their personal, professional and recreational lives, to create a more diverse, inclusive sense of community in which all are welcome to participate on all levels.

The Blind Stokers Club (BSC) has roots from 2005, based on teamwork and mentoring, to introduce and share the simple pleasures of recreational bicycling with those who cannot see well enough to pilot a bike. Birthplace and base camp for the BSC is San Diego, California USA, however you can live anywhere and be associated with the Club. The Club operates by forming teams and conducting rides. Teams are composed of 3 parts: stoker, captain, and tandem bike.

(Center of Restorative Exercise) is a niche center that fulfills a unique need by providing the benefits of ongoing restorative exercise for individuals with chronic illness and/or debilitating conditions. It is C.O.R.E.'s belief and enduring philosophy that the risk of secondary complications and degenerative changes that typically follow a disabling condition may be prevented and/or significantly reduced if restorative exercise became an important part of the daily routine of every individual.

We provide recreational and competative instruction & training in the sport of rowing year round to people with a broad range of disabilities. We provide high performance coaching and camps for athletes who want to take it to the highest level and beginners or learn to row camps or day outings for organizations and groups.
