Emma is the daughter of Craig and Theresa Stertz...Has one brother, Sam...She is a junior Secondary Social Studies Education and History double major at the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, MN....She is also on the Nordic Ski and cross country running teams at the College of Saint Scholastica....Emma's hobbies include mountain biking, reading, and sharing what she loves with others....Started skiing before she could walk and has loved it ever since...She started her biathlon career at Mt. Itasca and has trained with multiple clubs including Kouvolan Hiihtoseura (Kouvola, Finland, 2018-19 season) and the Crosscut Elite Team (Bozeman, MT, summer 2021) ...Favorite part of biathlon is the opportunities it offers and the people she’s met through it
