More on Ari: Ari started skiing when she was learning to walk and joined the cross-country ski team in McCall, Idaho when she was 8 and moved to Bozeman, Montana for the winter months to ski with the Bridger Ski Foundation when she was 13. Since then she has been spending her summer months in McCall training on her own and working at her family’s kayak rental business and then moving to Bozeman, Montana, for the fall and winter months to ski for BSF and the Bridger Biathlon Club. She started doing biathlon when she was 14 and it has been an increasingly big part of her life since then. She is attending Montana State University (Bozeman, Mont.) majoring in environmental sciences.
