Interview Opportunities

The primary opportunity for athlete interviews is in the venue mixed zones as athletes are leaving the competition areas. Additional opportunities may exist in the Venue Media Centers, where E-accredited media are also able to shoot video per the News Access Guidelines. At many venues, a U.S. press officer will be on hand to assist. Athlete/coach interview requests outside of the mixed zone/Venue Media Centers should be directed to the respective sport press officer or a member of the USOC communications staff. Interviews with USOC delegation staff can be arranged at the USOC communications office at the MPC or by contacting a member of the USOC communications team.

The Opening and Closing ceremonies will be designated as high-demand events. A press ticket will be required to guarantee access to the press tribune or a photo position. To request a ticket, email pressticketing@toronto2015.org. U.S. press tickets will be distributed by the USOC.
