Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games U.S. School Leaderboard

The USOPC is piloting a U.S. school leaderboard to aid schools and conferences as they monitor their Team USA medal-winning performances. Unlike Team USA’s full Paralympic medal count, which tallies one medal per team sport, the below leaderboard identifies which athletes have medaled and tallies one medal per school per athlete. In team sports like wheelchair basketball, one school may have multiple medalists.

Medal-winning events begin on the first day of competition – August 25 – with track cycling, swimming and wheelchair fencing. Paralympic track and field will have 10-consecutive days of medal-contested events, beginning Aug. 27, while swimming wraps up its final medal event Sept. 3. With the wheelchair basketball and sitting volleyball medal-winning events contested on the last day of Paralympic competition, the school leaderboard will update throughout the Games.
