Daughter of Patrick and Tiffany Moody...Has two brothers, Luke and Caleb, and two sisters, Lexi and Emmy...Grew up playing several sports including basketball, tennis and softball...At age 10, she experienced a sore in her leg that was examined by her aunt, a doctor of physical therapy, who recommended that she be taken to the emergency room...Was diagnosed with stage four osteosarcoma, an aggressive cancerous tumor that originates at the end of a growth bone, that led to the amputation of her right leg...In 2014, she started playing wheelchair basketball for the Blazesports Jr. Hawks and has risen to become a young talent on the U.S. women’s wheelchair national team...Hobbies include theater and playing the piano and guitar...Wears #43 in honor of Philip Lutzenkirchen, a former Auburn University football player who died in a drunk driving accident...Appeared on the show “The Doctors” because of her unique amputation called rotationplasty.
