Personal: With only a year of experience in competitive swimming, Zachary Shattuck is on track to become one of the fastest swimmers in his classification. During the 2015 Capital Athletic Conference Championships, the swimmer broke the American Paralympic record in the 50-meter freestyle (S6), 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle. His hobbies include kayaking, skiing and hiking. Additionally, Shattuck swims for his college’s swim team at Frostburg State. A multi-talented athlete, he also dabbled in various sports during his high school career including soccer, basketball and wrestling.
